4/1/2020 – Announcement of opening of the JCEA Vice Presidency

JCEA Members,

With Brooke Williams’ successful election for the next JCEA President, there will be a vacancy for the office of JCEA Vice President. President-Elect Williams will be vacating her current position as JCEA Vice President on May 31. The JCEA Election Committee is formally announcing the opening for the office of JCEA Vice President and is now accepting nominations for the position.

Any member in good standing has the opportunity to run for this office and JCEA encourages all interested members to declare their intent to run. If you wish to run for this seat, please send your official declaration to run to the JCEA Election Committee Chair, Melissa Roach at mlroach75@gmail.com, by 5:00 PM on April 8.

After declaring please take the time to record a 3 Minute candidate video that will be presented to members. These videos need to be sent to jcea@coloradoea.org by 5:00 PM on April 10th.

JCEA Election Timeline for Vice President: (IO- John Ford, 10 minutes)

  1.  April 1 – April 8 Declaration of Intent Window
  2.  Time of Declaration – April 15th Campaign Window
  3.  April 10th – 3 minute candidate videos are due to JCEA
  4.  April 16th – April 24th Election Window
  5.  April 25th – Election Results Verification
