April council recap

Our major focus last night was on the plan to win at the bargaining table this year. Your JCEA team and the management team are more than 50 million dollars apart (management is planning for a pay freeze and/or furlough days for educators) while we are hearing from our members that it’s time to fight for Jeffco to invest in their educators. You all have worked twice as hard as ever before and reinvented your practice to support students during a global health crisis.

Every Jeffco educator deserves to feel and be valued – NOW is the time to demand that the district invests in YOU. We have a plan to win this year – but it will take all of our members to get there. If everyone does a little – we can move mountains!
