The Jefferson County Education Association is fighting to fully fund education in Colorado and end the Budget Stabilization (BS) Factor. Entire generations of students in Colorado have never had a fully funded education since the Colorado state legislature cut funding in 2008 to below levels considered constitutional. It’s time to end 14 years of BS and fight back.

We are also educating our members to know and enforce their collective bargaining agreement in order to ensure our students have safe, equitable, and thriving schools. Protecting our students means that we must ensure educator’s rights are also protected.
