Board of Education
The Jeffco Public Schools Board of Education is the policy-making body of the school district.
The school board is a body of officials elected by the voters of Jefferson County. Their duties include adopting a balanced annual budget, adopting the school calendar, negotiating contracts with the employees, and closing or constructing schools. They develop the vision of Jeffco Public Schools with the input of community and district staff.
