JCEA will be hosting a 6 week, paid organizing internship this summer and we are looking for people who want to learn organizing skills, grow as a leader, and work to address mental health concerns in the district. Internships will begin June 17th and end the week of August 2nd (with the week of July 4th off). Interns will work 24 hours a week and get paid $15 an hour. You can apply to be an Ed Summer intern HERE.
We understand many people have travel plans in the summer can can be flexible, providing you are not planning on taking more than a week off; however you must be able to attend the training the full week of June 17th.
If you cannot commit to a full 6 weeks or organizing with us, but want to know more about building power and organizing, we invite you to join us for our training on June 17th and 18th with Colorado Industrial Areas Foundation. To participate in the two day training, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited.
If you are a leader with some organizing experience, and want to lead a team, we are also looking for mentors. You can find out more and apply to be a mentor HERE. Note: If you are interested in being a mentor you do not need to do both applications.
The application window is open NOW and closes April 24th. Apply today!
