Dear members of JCEA,
It is heartbreaking to see yet another senseless shooting in Colorado, that murdered ten innocent people while grocery shopping at a King Soopers in Boulder.
Our Colorado community again is devastated and hurting after a mass shooting. This senseless act of violence took ten lives, including an Alameda graduate Neven Stanisic and a Boulder Police Officer.
JCEA stands in solidarity and sends support to the brave members of UFCW Local 7 for taking swift action to usher people to safety. Enough is enough. Let us come together to support, advocate, and act for our colleagues, students, families, and community members who have been affected by this tragedy. We all deserve to be safe in our communities.
As we process this crisis together please know that your union is here to support you.
